Dr. Viviana Alava is a compassionate veterinarian who earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine. Her passion for veterinary medicine stems from the unique opportunity to combine multiple disciplines, including medicine, surgery, and pharmacology, to improve the lives of animals. She values the meaningful connections veterinarians build with pets and their families and is dedicated to providing thoughtful, compassionate care throughout every stage of a pet’s life.
Outside of veterinary medicine, Dr. Alava enjoys staying active through rock climbing, slacklining, and hiking with her dog. She also loves exploring thrift stores and attending live music events. Dr. Alava is proud to be part of Heartstrings Pet Hospice, helping families navigate their beloved pets’ final chapters with compassion, dignity, and respect.
